The Skates's Jens-Ola Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Innocenzio in the 13th minute of play. When Dario Jordy fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brown de Adrogué's protests and gave Dario Jordy a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Dario Jordy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Christian Hedling took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Godofredo Carlomagno to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, The Skates's Harry Larsson got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Alex Ödmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Brown de Adrogué getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Apolo Eleder hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Alex Ödmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Skates's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Ödmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godofredo Carlomagno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brown de Adrogué were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after The Skates's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benito Milio took the corner. The corner led Brown de Adrogué's Benito Milio to fire away a dangerous shot which Jens-Ola Lund despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Degas got free with Godofredo Carlomagno in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when The Skates's Edgar Degas in the 46th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Godofredo Carlomagno was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Brown de Adrogué through an amazing save. A collision led to Brown de Adrogué getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Benito Milio hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgar Degas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
