The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bizi Quemada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cresitobalo Rilo in the 8th minute of play. Cusco FC's Johan Schönberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Oliviero in the 12th minute of play. Slawomir Turak kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Bizi Quemada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cresitobalo Rilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Hermes Jesus kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 25 de Abril Futbol Club's Sixto Manilan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Carlos Zambrano in the 26 minute of the game. 25 de Abril Futbol Club's Slawomir Turak managed to work through Cusco FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Orlando Gamus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Zambrano made in the 40th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Emanuele Morelli however managed to control. After 46 played minutes Cusco FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Zambrano. The 25 de Abril Futbol Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cusco FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Slawomir Turak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Zambrano got a throw-in 51 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gabon Salantes. Bizi Quemada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabon Salantes in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Cresitobalo Rilo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bizi Quemada was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 61 minutes of play, 25 de Abril Futbol Club's Slawomir Turak made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johan Schönberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Johan Schönberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slawomir Turak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Slawomir Turak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johan Schönberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Yao Ang Feng managed to get in a good position for a shot. 25 de Abril Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Yao Ang Feng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johan Schönberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yao Ang Feng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Schönberg having to interfere. The 25 de Abril Futbol Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cusco FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
