Feliciano Guzman kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Alejandro Papaggelatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 12th minute Alejandro Papaggelatos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Odon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Alejandro Papaggelatos managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Armada Buscapina's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Papaggelatos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lázaro Odon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Alejandro Papaggelatos sped through ESQUIU FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lázaro Odon. Lázaro Odon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejandro Papaggelatos went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of La Armada Buscapina booed when ESQUIU FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Eztebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Alejandro Papaggelatos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Alejandro Papaggelatos might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lázaro Odon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejandro Papaggelatos ran back to his position shaking his head. 65 minutes into the match, Alejandro Papaggelatos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lázaro Odon, 0-6. La Armada Buscapina's Denílson Ronaldinho was substituted for Alejandro Papaggelatos. 73 minutes into the match, ESQUIU FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Odon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Liev Tolstoy. When Denílson Ronaldinho came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the La Armada Buscapina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denílson Ronaldinho couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Esteban Cambiasso got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The La Armada Buscapina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. 92 minutes into the match, Denílson Ronaldinho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lázaro Odon, 0-8. When the final whistle sounded La Armada Buscapina left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ESQUIU FC.
