Lázaro Odon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Chap, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Nunez Gizon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lázaro Odon. ESQUIU FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nunez Gizon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Lázaro Odon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Intxixu in the 25th minute of play. Nunez Gizon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Nunez Gizon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After having played for 33 minutes, Lázaro Chap managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mainumby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Chap was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Mainumby booed when ESQUIU FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Eztebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lázaro Chap in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lázaro Odon saved ESQUIU FC from getting behind. In the 40th minute, Nunez Gizon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lázaro Odon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Lázaro Odon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Chap, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mainumby's Dante Sidro got a free kick in the 45th minute. Guaberto Cucao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Oskarbi in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The crowd rose to their feet as Mainumby's Lázaro Chap slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lázaro Odon. That made the score 0-7 after 65 minutes of play. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by ESQUIU FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Justino Estavan was slow to take the kick. During this time Mainumby's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Mainumby's Francisco Dominic getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a rather tough play, Mainumby's Dionisio Acevedo got a free kick in the 84th minute. Mainumby played a much better game than ESQUIU FC and deserved their victory. The ESQUIU FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
