After some careless play in the São Paulo F.C. defense, Harriet Basabe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiago Godoi. The São Paulo F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiago Godoi should have stopped the shot. Lev Yashin came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by São Paulo F.C.'s Yaya Sow. But to his dismay, Yaya Sow quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Tiago Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harriet Basabe, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 22nd minute Harriet Basabe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Llorienzo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matxin Maliaño got free with Tiago Godoi in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lev Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yaya Sow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiago Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harriet Basabe in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, São Paulo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Harriet Basabe came free, but Tiago Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Yaya Sow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harriet Basabe in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiago Godoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tiago Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harriet Basabe in the 43rd minute of the match. When Ronaldo Crispín fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored São Paulo F.C.'s protests and gave Ronaldo Crispín a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th match minute, São Paulo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Crispín to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute of the match Kurt Björling sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiago Godoi skillfully saved the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronaldo Crispín to strike the kick off in the second half. Tiago Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harriet Basabe in the 55th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Harriet Basabe made a precise shot to the right of Tiago Godoi. São Paulo F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 64 minutes into the match, São Paulo F.C.'s Ronaldo Crispín sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lev Yashin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th match minute, Conjunto Paisa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Boris to maneuver through the defense. Murillo Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugênio Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Tiago Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matxin Maliaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matxin Maliaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Tiago Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, São Paulo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Matxin Maliaño came free, but Tiago Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiago Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harriet Basabe in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to São Paulo F.C. getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Celso Gerber hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, São Paulo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Matxin Maliaño came free, but Tiago Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matxin Maliaño in the 89th minute of play forced São Paulo F.C.'s goalkeeper Tiago Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugênio Gonçalves made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dorian Quadros immediately put the ball in play. After 98 minutes of play, Conjunto Paisa's Harriet Basabe made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiago Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Conjunto Paisa's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
