Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Nacer Khlifi scored 2-5 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guaberto Cucao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marrakech FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
