Dante Sidro's late challenge caught a Sosoco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dante Sidro helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislao Serafo in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diamantino Arruda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enio Azevedo in the 12th minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Guaberto Cucao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diamantino Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Chap in the 15th minute of play. Diamantino Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Chap, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enio Azevedo in the 20th minute of play. After 22 minutes of play, Mainumby's Lázaro Chap made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diamantino Arruda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dante Sidro hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Guaberto Cucao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sosoco FC's Diamantino Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Gizon in the 28th minute of play. Silvano Tiadoro struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Diamantino Arruda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mainumby. 32 minutes into the game, Edmílson Veloso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guaberto Cucao. Edmílson Veloso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Sosoco FC's Diamantino Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Chap in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sosoco FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mainumby's Victor Gelmiro was substituted for David Isusko. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enio Azevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. Mainumby were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
