An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Papaggelatos in the 23rd minute of play forced Cusco FC's goalkeeper Johan Schönberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejandro Papaggelatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Alejandro Papaggelatos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johan Schönberg. The audience was convinced that Gabon Salantes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chupan Moco was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Cusco FC's Johan Schönberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Cusco FC from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the game, Elano Negro threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cusco FC's Maria Coronado quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Johan Schönberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denílson Ronaldinho's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. When Denílson Ronaldinho came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the La Armada Buscapina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denílson Ronaldinho couldn't finish the play. Gabon Salantes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chupan Moco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Elano Negro made in the 90th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Casimiro Librado however managed to control. Johan Schönberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson Ronaldinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. A collision led to La Armada Buscapina getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Marian Galaska hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La Armada Buscapina walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
