In the 8th match minute, PLUMIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Peli to maneuver through the defense. If Lisandro Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Astigar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Mel in the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in PLUMIN's zone, Lisandro Nuñez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Massó came out of the goal and Lisandro Nuñez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute Gerardo Berto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Astigar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, PLUMIN's Dario Astigar threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Delmiro Mel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rodrigo Massó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Nuñez in the 36th minute of play. Dario Astigar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Higinio Eguzki in the 37th minute. The PLUMIN players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SAN LORENZO FC were winning 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in PLUMIN's zone, Artur Quintas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Massó came out of the goal and Artur Quintas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Allan Blom scored 0-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Massó, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, PLUMIN's Rodrigo Massó got control of the ball when Lisandro Nuñez tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Rafael Tiniebra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SAN LORENZO FC's Ciriaco Cordarrell was substituted for Lisandro Nuñez. SAN LORENZO FC's Isaias Rosario was substituted for Allan Blom. If Ciriaco Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Ferrer in the 77th minute of play forced SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Dario Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Ciriaco Cordarrell sped through PLUMIN's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodrigo Massó. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Rodrigo Massó successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ciriaco Cordarrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dario Astigar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Ferrer in the 95th minute of the match. The SAN LORENZO FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SAN LORENZO FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
