After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Wei Li managed to get in a good position for a shot. After some careless play in the Dep Colonia Avellaneda defense, Faustino Uria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victoriano Bernaldo. The Dep Colonia Avellaneda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victoriano Bernaldo should have stopped the shot. Victoriano Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Uria, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Victoriano Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gorri Fonticoba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wei Li, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The Sitges FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Fernandez should have stopped the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Sitges FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Rosa came free, but Leonel Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sitges FC's Alejo Caminero got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After the first half Dep Colonia Avellaneda were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Larry Herrera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sitges FC booed when Dep Colonia Avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Cerritos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonel Fernandez came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Santo Libertad. But to his dismay, Santo Libertad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Leonel Fernandez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Santo Libertad showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 61 minute of play. After 64 played minutes Sitges FC got a freekick which was hit by Larry Herrera. Victoriano Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gorri Fonticoba, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Sitges FC were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Dep Colonia Avellaneda's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Faustino Uria took the corner. Faustino Uria made a great header on Sitges FC's corner, it was just that Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo managed to reach the ball for a save. Leonel Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Libertad in the 84th minute of the match. Victoriano Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larry Herrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Leonel Fernandez came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Leopoldo Rosa. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Rosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-9. After 95 minutes, Faustino Uria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sitges FC and the Dep Colonia Avellaneda players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Faustino Uria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Santo Libertad got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
