SAN MARTIN F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lisandro Nuñez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 10 minutes, Lisandro Nuñez made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Maximiliano Astudillo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lisandro Nuñez in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximiliano Astudillo saved SAN MARTIN F.C. from getting behind. Lisandro Nuñez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximiliano Astudillo having to make a save. Maximiliano Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Tiniebra in the 23rd minute of the match. Lv Ang Jing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, SAN MARTIN F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Nuñez came free, but Maximiliano Astudillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lisandro Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lisandro Nuñez came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the SAN LORENZO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Nuñez couldn't finish the play. If Lisandro Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maximiliano Astudillo came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by SAN LORENZO FC's Artur Quintas. But to his dismay, Artur Quintas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Lisandro Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisandro Nuñez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Maximiliano Astudillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximiliano Astudillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lisandro Nuñez's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. After 46 played minutes SAN MARTIN F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Presebal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abelardo Roland was the one to do the kick off. After 56 minutes of play, SAN LORENZO FC's Lisandro Nuñez made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximiliano Astudillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute, Lisandro Nuñez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SAN LORENZO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. After 74th play minutes Ciriaco Cordarrell shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Maximiliano Astudillo and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Ciriaco Cordarrell took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Maximiliano Astudillo to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Ciriaco Cordarrell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximiliano Astudillo was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Lv Tian Yuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciriaco Cordarrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Maximiliano Astudillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SAN LORENZO FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
