Claudio Cerritos was slow to take the kick. During this time Dep Colonia Avellaneda's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Wei Li getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Falckner FC's Loco De la Maza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Buckner in the 21st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santo Libertad in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loco De la Maza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Loco De la Maza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darryl Buckner, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Loco De la Maza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darryl Buckner went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Rosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Loco De la Maza. Falckner FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leopoldo Rosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dep Colonia Avellaneda fully deserved thier win.
