In the 12th minute Carlos Fernández shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Orzaize saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Enmanuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Epifanio Orzaize made a huge save. If Gaspar Urre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Formentera's Carlos Fernández managed to work through No vino el 5's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Carlos Fernández dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a rather tough play, Formentera's Carlos Fernández got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Gaspar Urre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seyhan Atlıhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Gaspar Urre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Seyhan Atlıhan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 29 minutes No vino el 5's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlos Fernández who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Urre in the 33rd minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Seyhan Atlıhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seyhan Atlıhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Urre, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36thth minute of the game Gaspar Urre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Formentera's Seyhan Atlıhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Formentera's Justino Hondo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Elvio Peio, made in the 41st minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patricio Sengrat to make the kick off. Paulo Enmanuel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Epifanio Orzaize read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Epifanio Orzaize showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Fernández, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Formentera's goalkeeper Seyhan Atlıhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaspar Urre. Epifanio Orzaize took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Enmanuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Justino Hondo. After 73 played minutes, No vino el 5's Gervasio Guillerme shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Seyhan Atlıhan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in No vino el 5 reached it. 75 minutes into the match, Formentera's goalkeeper Seyhan Atlıhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaspar Urre. In the 76th minute No vino el 5 were awarded a corner. Amadeo Patrido went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to No vino el 5 getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Patricio Sengrat hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Bartuelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Epifanio Orzaize. No vino el 5's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustaquio Bartuelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Seyhan Atlıhan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patricio Sengrat showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 88 minute of play. After a rather tough play, No vino el 5's Gervasio Guillerme got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 91st minute, Carlos Fernández sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and No vino el 5's Epifanio Orzaize didn't even have to move. No vino el 5's Epifanio Orzaize played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Silviano in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Formentera fans cheered their team off the field, for while No vino el 5 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
