Falckner FC's Loco De la Maza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Uria in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Gianluca Vialli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Falckner FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sitges FC the free kick. Gianluca Vialli hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Sitges FC defense, Gianluca Vialli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sinforoso Candamil. The Sitges FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sinforoso Candamil should have stopped the shot. Sinforoso Candamil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Vialli in the 27th minute of the match. Marcio Toxeiro made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Falckner FC's Jose Baldovino. 30 minutes into the match, Jose Baldovino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sinforoso Candamil. The Falckner FC fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Sitges FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Falckner FC were winning 0-5.

The wind increased when Gianluca Vialli made the kick off in the second half. Loco De la Maza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Uria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sinforoso Candamil was a little too slow when Gianluca Vialli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-6. Marco Bilbo charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Bilbo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Falckner FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Marco Bilbo hit a great ball. After 58 played minutes Sitges FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcio Toxeiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianluca Vialli in the 60th minute of play forced Sitges FC's goalkeeper Sinforoso Candamil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sinforoso Candamil was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gianluca Vialli showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 63 minute of play. Gianluca Vialli might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sinforoso Candamil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gianluca Vialli ran back to his position shaking his head. Sinforoso Candamil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianluca Vialli in the 68th minute of play. Jose Baldovino came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sinforoso Candamil could save by the left post. In the 76th minute, Jose Baldovino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sinforoso Candamil was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Sitges FC's Sinforoso Candamil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Sitges FC from getting a goal against them. Sinforoso Candamil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Vialli, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 86 minutes, Jose Baldovino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Falckner FC and the Sitges FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Sitges FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
