The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th match minute, SAN MARTIN F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by You Nan to maneuver through the defense. In the 22ndth minute of the game You Nan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Darryl Buckner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 24 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Darryl Buckner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chucky Norris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ben Breton made a kick off. Nicanor Izel kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Ben Breton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Bernaldo having to make a save. Victoriano Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Breton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chucky Norris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Darryl Buckner in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the match, SAN MARTIN F.C.'s goalkeeper Chucky Norris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Rosa. Pascual Lesardo made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Ben Breton. In the 83rd minute Ben Breton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Breton in the 85th minute of play forced Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalkeeper Victoriano Bernaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Dep Colonia Avellaneda:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SAN MARTIN F.C.:s goal. Darryl Buckner came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Chucky Norris could save by the left post. After 93 played minutes SAN MARTIN F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luis Urdaspal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. SAN MARTIN F.C. were victorious despite being under pressure from Dep Colonia Avellaneda for much of the match.
