Joshua Secada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Testaferrata Viani having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SOAD's Michal Urbaník got a free kick in the 13th minute. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Testaferrata Viani having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agne Lundkvist got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to SOAD getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Michal Urbaník hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Agne Lundkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 25 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. SOAD's Marco Testaferrata Viani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute of play. When SOAD's Petter Dahlqvist in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Testaferrata Viani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Marco Testaferrata Viani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Agne Lundkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After having played for 45 minutes, Petter Dahlqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SOAD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petter Dahlqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Marco Testaferrata Viani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After 68 played minutes SOAD got a freekick which was hit by Bohumír Otradovec. 72 minutes into the match, Agne Lundkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agne Lundkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The Venezuela fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Dahlqvist in the 82nd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakub Hendrich, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute, Jakub Hendrich made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Camilo Gaos charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gaos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SOAD booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball.
