Xefe Azpeitia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rolando Arzola got a throw-in 27 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Xefe Azpeitia. After 29 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. After having played for 29 minutes, Moises Villalcazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PACIFIC FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Villalcazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moises Villalcazar's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. PACIFIC FC's Urritz Berberana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 33rd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Villalcazar came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Ferreros in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Rolando Arzola charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Ferreros in the 59th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Moises Villalcazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Moises Villalcazar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the game, Nestor Hernani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PACIFIC FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Xefe Azpeitia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 78thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PACIFIC FC's Urritz Berberana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. PACIFIC FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rodolfo Toraya in the 91st minute. A nice corner shot did that Rodolfo Toraya got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
