In the 81st minute Nereo Luke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute of the match, Xavier Figueroa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nizam Soner saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 90thth minute of the game Nereo Luke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nizam Soner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 91st minute. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Orlando Casaus hit a great ball. When Francisco Carballar fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chile's protests and gave Francisco Carballar a yellow card for diving instead. Francisco Carballar hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
