In the 30th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Cristian Sancho scored 0-5 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Hansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Hansson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustín Saelices went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. 62 minutes into the match, Xentrias's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Jonathan Hansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Hansson having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. Xentrias's Jonathan Hansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute Rune Vennerkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Hansson. That made the score 0-11 in the 82 minute of play. Jan Björklund kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Jarl Vallengren's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Jonathan Hansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 96th match minute, Xentrias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miklós Császár to maneuver through the defense. The Xentrias fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
