The supporters of Panama booed when Dark Knight FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Chinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilfredo Frederico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 8th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Isidro Chinto sped through Panama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Tomas Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilfredo Frederico saved Dark Knight FC from getting behind. In the 22nd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Frederico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Cotilla was a little too slow when Isidro Chinto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Gaur in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Dark Knight FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Ihazintu to maneuver through the defense. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Frederico having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Chinto came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Victorio Ihazintu came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Dark Knight FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorio Ihazintu couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the game, Alex Cambeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dark Knight FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Panama's Alex Cambeiro got a free kick in the 39th minute. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Gaur, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Isidro Chinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Gaur in the 61st minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Panama's Wilfredo Frederico threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Chinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 68th minute, Isidro Chinto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Wilfredo Frederico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wilfredo Frederico, 3-1. In the 75th minute, Panama's Abraham Alguacil dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilfredo Frederico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bartolo Aballe kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Dark Knight FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Wilfredo Frederico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Alex Cambeiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wilfredo Frederico quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tomas Berganza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilfredo Frederico having to make a save. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Aballe in the 93rd minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
