In the 12th match minute, CA La Chola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Rafe to maneuver through the defense. Juan Bide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 27th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Alexander Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alan Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alan Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Milian during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Bide having to interfere. Juan Bide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 39th minute of play. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Juan Bide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Wilfredo Navarro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aaron Urki was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Aaron Urki took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Urki in the 60th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Moruga made in the 62nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Aaron Alcocer however managed to control. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Aquilino Rafe managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA La Chola's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquilino Rafe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Wilfredo Navarro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Wilfredo Navarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CA La Chola made a substitution. Felipe Vimaro replaced Filiberto Ruisko. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aaron Urki went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. CA La Chola made a substitution. Anselmo Arias replaced Aaron Urki. In the 82nd minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Bide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 84th minute of play. CA La Chola's Aquilino Rafe got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anselmo Arias went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Aurelio Cordaryal kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CA La Chola had won after a very even match.
