Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yang Ning Wei in the 6th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monte Susanin, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Wang Kun Yang's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lautaro Navarro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Wang Kun Yang who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Lautaro Navarro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 16 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Monte Susanin came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milagros Cabal's late challenge caught a The Old Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Milagros Cabal helped the player get up and apologised. Milagros Cabal kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Isidro Gartzi took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The Old Boys's Jose Ignazio was substituted for Gogo Hondo. The Old Boys's Paulino Sayvion was substituted for Monte Susanin. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulino Sayvion to make the kick off. Paulino Sayvion kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Paulino Sayvion scored 5-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th minute Wang Kun Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Gartzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Gartzi came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
