Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Darryl Nicholson to make the kick off. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but 袁威凌 made a huge save. In the 56th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Darryl Nicholson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Darryl Nicholson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darryl Nicholson in the 64th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darryl Nicholson in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darryl Nicholson went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match.
