Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 狄崇扬, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 狄崇扬 in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when 姚延政 came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 蔡骋峰 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. 魏鹰真 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 84th minute of the match. The supporters of 中国小学生冠军联队 booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If 姚延政 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. When the referee ended the match the 中国小学生冠军联队 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
