Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Eliseo Mina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erasmo Loi. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseo Mina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 14th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 18th minute, Milagros Fraga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 22 minutes, Julian Murillo made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Erasmo Loi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Erasmo Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 27th minute of play. After 28 minutes Apocalípticos & Caóticos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Emmanuel Reyes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erasmo Loi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 29 minutes into the match, Fernando Gamus dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa, 1-5. 33 minutes into the match, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Erasmo Loi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 35th minute. The corner led Peru's Luz Tejedor to fire away a dangerous shot which Erasmo Loi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The throw-in from Eymen Kakisim in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 39th minute, Patricio Emmanuel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Edelmiro Taurino came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Apocalípticos & Caóticos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edelmiro Taurino couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Apocalípticos & Caóticos made a substitution. Cosme Austin replaced Dante Brion. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Herbert Henskens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Henskens in the 55th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Erasmo Loi in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 62nd minute of play forced Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goalkeeper Erasmo Loi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Erasmo Loi in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute, Eymen Kakisim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Erasmo Loi got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erasmo Loi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. In the 72nd minute, Peru's Julian Murillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erasmo Loi. Erasmo Loi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. 78 minutes into the match, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goalkeeper Erasmo Loi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 79th minute of play forced Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goalkeeper Erasmo Loi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Ponciano scored 2-7 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute, Manuel Ponciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rafael Gallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 minutes of play, Peru's Antonio Tenorio made it 2-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erasmo Loi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 91 minutes into the game, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Manuel Ponciano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-8. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goalkeeper Erasmo Loi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eliseo Mina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
