Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacharias Siatzis, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Zacharias Siatzis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zacharias Siatzis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Marco Day didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Habil Castolo went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Cassius Byrne kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, the xeneise dream team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arda Ardashov to maneuver through the defense. Cassius Byrne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vinicio Aires having to make a save. Cassius Byrne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vinicio Aires read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Eutor came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zacharias Siatzis was slow to take the kick. During this time the xeneise dream team's players had a chance to rest. the xeneise dream team's Zacharias Siatzis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marco Day in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vinicio Aires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 25th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Paolo Eutor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Marco Day successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Eutor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Paolo Eutor notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of USA's Marco Day. Marco Day was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th minute Zacharias Siatzis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Habil Castolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zacharias Siatzis hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, the xeneise dream team's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Vinicio Aires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 44th minute of play forced the xeneise dream team's goalkeeper Vinicio Aires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
Arda Ardashov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 53rd minute of play forced the xeneise dream team's goalkeeper Vinicio Aires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Edward Mcdonald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paolo Eutor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cassius Byrne in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Sam Campbell's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vinicio Aires firmly grabbed it by the left post. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Habil Castolo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Eutor in the 77th minute of the match. If Monty Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80th minute of the match, Edward Mcdonald tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vinicio Aires saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Edward Mcdonald blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vinicio Aires having to make a save. USA made a substitution. The the xeneise dream team support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
