In the 5th minute, Walmir Breckenfeld got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Petran having to interfere. Horaţiu Petran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Beldad to maneuver through the defense. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Konstantinos Kroustallis in the 20th minute. After taking down the ball on Gyál United's corner Walmir Breckenfeld fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joaquin Gayoso quite easily take care of the ball. Joaquin Gayoso stood somewhat misplaced when Walmir Breckenfeld came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 22 minute. The audience was convinced that Walmir Breckenfeld's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Horaţiu Petran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walmir Breckenfelds short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Breckenfeld in the 31st minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmir Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walmir Breckenfeld in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the game, Walmir Breckenfeld lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Joaquin Gayoso. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walmir Breckenfeld during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gyál United getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Walmir Breckenfeld hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Gyál United's Walmir Breckenfeld slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 4-0 after 47 minutes of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walmir Breckenfeld stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Gyál United's Walmir Breckenfeld in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Deivid Trigo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Alberto Gisbert's late challenge caught a Gyál United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Gisbert helped the player get up and apologised. If Konstantinos Kroustallis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantinos Kroustallis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gyál United were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Konstantinos Kroustallis took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Konstantinos Kroustallis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin Gayoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Walmir Breckenfeld blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoltán Varga in the 71st minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Zoltán Varga sped through Uruguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. 75 minutes into the game, Zoltán Varga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute, Zoltán Varga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gyál United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. 87 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Francisco Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horaţiu Petran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Uruguay fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! In the 96th minute of the game Tito Montaño made a throw-in which Zoltán Varga played forward. Gyál United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Uruguay for a fine match.
