Matias Gelmiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Herminio Gizon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, ALIDIM FOR EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Herminio Gizon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stanko Selimović kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
