Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of LA InDuStRiA INC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 5 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Cristobal Lalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA InDuStRiA INC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristobal Lalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristobal Lalla got free with Julio Vera in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristobal Lalla. In the 16th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera stood somewhat misplaced when Cristobal Lalla came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 24 minute. Raimundo Obano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustín Saelices went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Lalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Raimundo Obano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Cristobal Lalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, LA InDuStRiA INC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Raimundo Obano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by LA InDuStRiA INC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Luis Andino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Raimundo Obano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Ecuador's Luis Andino in 41 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Raimundo Obano guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Obano having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristobal Lalla to make the kick off. Raimundo Obano was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Raimundo Obano made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Cristobal Lalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raimundo Obano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. LA InDuStRiA INC's Arturo Perpinya was substituted for Cristobal Lalla. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Raimundo Obano could save by the left post. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Perpinya in the 77th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Perpinya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimundo Obano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute of the match. Tomás Leoncio's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 91st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Obano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Haroldo Filipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the game, LA InDuStRiA INC's Arturo Perpinya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3.
