An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play forced LA InDuStRiA INC's goalkeeper Raimundo Obano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th match minute, LA InDuStRiA INC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rainerio Jubera to maneuver through the defense. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Mero's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danilo Mero helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, LA InDuStRiA INC's Danilo Mero got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. LA InDuStRiA INC's Raimundo Obano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save LA InDuStRiA INC from getting a goal against them. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Agustín Saelices kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raimundo Obano. That made the score 0-1 in the 58 minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Lekubegi came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of LA InDuStRiA INC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 played minutes LA InDuStRiA INC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Medero. In the 93rd minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Lekubegi in the 95th minute of the match. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing LA InDuStRiA INC to leave the ground with a draw.
