In the 17th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Astigar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Victorio Astigar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's Severino Jesco quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jacobo Martxelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Victorio Astigar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Noboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorio Astigar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Ferrant in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's Domingo Guipuzkoa.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacobo Martxelin to strike the kick off in the second half. CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's attentive Severino Jesco managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. With a little luck, CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's Victorio Astigar got control of the ball when Axel Tasis tried to sneak it across the goal line. CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's Domingo Guipuzkoa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Juan Rubio, made in the 63rd minute of the game. CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's attentive Domingo Guipuzkoa managed to snatch the ball when Hugo Ferrant made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. Efrain Moruga's late challenge caught a CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efrain Moruga helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. Lautaro Puig managed to, on his own, get straight through CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's defense and in the 68th minute placed the ball to the left of Victorio Astigar. 0-1. CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's Severino Jesco managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Abel Carballo in the 72 minute of the game. After 72 minutes of play, CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's Severino Jesco made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jacobo Martxelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A sloppy throw-in by Efrain Moruga in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's Severino Jesco. 88 minutes in the game Efrain Moruga did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Eliseo Noboa. Axel Tasis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Victorio Astigar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Efrain Moruga was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11 booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite being the better team, CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11 failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
