Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Lu Hong Qiang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Lu Hong Qiang came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Sebastian Villa. But to his dismay, Sebastian Villa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 6 played minutes Mauro got a freekick which was hit by Miroslaw Lanczak. Edmundo Espiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lu Hong Qiang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Barnaba Falke hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After having played for 19 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Nicola Zalewski came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Mauro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicola Zalewski couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute Adam Zacharczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Islam Slimani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute, Adam Zacharczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lu Hong Qiang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Mauro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Zacharczyk to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. Luca Espinar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milagros Cabal in the 53rd minute of play forced Mauro's goalkeeper Lu Hong Qiang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mauro getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Barnaba Falke hit a great ball. If Islam Slimani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Islam Slimani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Mauro's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Lu Hong Qiang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Adam Zacharczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 minutes of play Mauro's Adam Zacharczyk was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Adam Zacharczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Moises Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Lu Hong Qiang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. After 69 played minutes Mauro got a freekick which was hit by Islam Slimani. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Villa in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lu Hong Qiang saved Mauro from getting behind. After 82 minutes, Miroslaw Lanczak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mauro and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mauro getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Miroslaw Lanczak hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lu Hong Qiang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lu Hong Qiang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Mauro booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicola Zalewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, Honduras failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
