The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacek Kordalewski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobiasz Bienienda in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Joaquin Gayoso was a little too slow when Tobiasz Bienienda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. The audience was convinced that Maximiliano Escribano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacek Kordalewski was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KS KARA the free kick. Bogdan Raschke kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute of the match, Bogdan Raschke tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joaquin Gayoso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

Tobiasz Bienienda's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobiasz Bienienda helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Uruguay booed when KS KARA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacek Kordalewski came out of the goal and Maximiliano Escribano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacek Kordalewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 76th minute. Tobiasz Bienienda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 84 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Cazalla. Wawrzyniec Kaczynski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The KS KARA players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
