In the 20th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Higinio Porfiro. LA MAQUINA F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Higinio Porfiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, LA MAQUINA F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Higinio Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after LA MAQUINA F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Loco Borja tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Carlos Alberto Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA MAQUINA F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Alberto Pernambucano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Carlos Alberto Pernambucano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-4. Carlos Alberto Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LA MAQUINA F.C's Higinio Porfiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute of play.

In the 52nd match minute, LA MAQUINA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loco Borja to maneuver through the defense. Higinio Porfiro made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. LA MAQUINA F.C's Bohuslav Plachetka was substituted for Santo Colas. LA MAQUINA F.C's Higinio Romero was substituted for Isidoro Playo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Min during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Higinio Porfiro in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valentin Makovskiy hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Higinio Porfiro in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-7 in the 91st playminute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Higinio Porfiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, LA MAQUINA F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Higinio Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The LA MAQUINA F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
