Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zachary Parzysz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Minotti in the 5th minute of play. After 7 played minutes GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Šimunko. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elder de Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play forced GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s goalkeeper Elder de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of play forced GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s goalkeeper Elder de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the game, one of GNK Dinamo Zagreb™:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Elder de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Elder de Toledo. Elder de Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s goalie and right to Felix Montenegro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 played minutes GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ got a freekick which was hit by Gradimir Juraga. Cristian Sanchos short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Elder de Toledo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Elder de Toledo was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-3. 64 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elder de Toledo. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Šimunko in the 69th minute of the match. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Elder de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 76th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Elder de Toledo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elder de Toledo. The GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elder de Toledo should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Elder de Toledo in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 94 minutes, Zachary Parzysz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zachary Parzysz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
