The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Lisandro Noe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. After having played for 17 minutes, 洪鹰耀 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Igni et ferro's supporters crossed their fingers, but 洪鹰耀 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Dubinin, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Igni et ferro's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Lisandro Noe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 25th minute of play forced Igni et ferro's goalkeeper Lisandro Noe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Pavel Dubinin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Lisandro Noe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Guevara, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Lisandro Noe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The nice shot from Alex Guevara in the 43rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Dante Lacasa had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. When Pavel Dubinin, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 43 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dante Lacasa was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Igni et ferro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 江坚挺 to maneuver through the defense. Lisandro Noe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 53 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lisandro Noe made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lisandro Noe. Lautaro Mancebo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Igni et ferro made a substitution. Şahin Yaren replaced 洪鹰耀. 江坚挺's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 江坚挺 helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Igni et ferro's 江坚挺 got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Noe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lisandro Noe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 67th minute. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igni et ferro's Lisandro Noe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 77th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 江坚挺 in the 81st minute of play. Igni et ferro made a substitution. Artem Alov replaced Aleksey Glaz. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 江坚挺 was slow to take the kick. During this time Igni et ferro's players had a chance to rest. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksey Anyukov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Igni et ferro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Igni et ferro's Lisandro Noe did a great save. Igni et ferro's 江坚挺 got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered 江坚挺 off the ground. After 94 played minutes Igni et ferro got a freekick which was hit by 江坚挺. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
