Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Johnsson in the 2nd minute of the match. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Grönlands SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felix Ekerot in the 8th minute. The corner led Grönlands SK's Jonathan Ivarsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Fredric Johnsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Fredric Johnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Grönlands SK booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredric Johnsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After 17th play minutes Fredric Johnsson shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. Fredric Johnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredric Johnsson got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 2-0 became the score in the 23rd minute when Fredric Johnsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Grönlands SK's Fredric Johnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filip Pilberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 30th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Isac Hellsing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Fredric Johnsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredric Johnsson to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 55 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Filip Pilberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 59th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Ivarsson in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. When Grönlands SK's Jonathan Ivarsson in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Johnsson in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Grönlands SK getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Karl-Ove Valström hit a great ball. With his leg Filip Pilberg managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Filip Pilberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Karl-Ove Valström fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grönlands SK's protests and gave Karl-Ove Valström a yellow card for diving instead. Venezuela's Roberto Ocampo was substituted for Joshua Secada. A collision led to Grönlands SK getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Karl-Ove Valström hit a great ball. Fredric Johnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Johnsson in the 83rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Patricio Costa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Filip Pilberg. That made the score 2-1 in the 85 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isac Hellsing during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, Isac Hellsing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Karl-Ove Valström made in the 95th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jonathan Ivarsson immediately put the ball in play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Johnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Grönlands SK support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
