Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over A.J. 陈义勇. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacinto Kimetz went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Lautaro Mancebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without A.J. 陈义勇 having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. ArgenTeam's Bruno Xabier got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 56 played minutes ArgenTeam got a freekick which was hit by Hiroshi Jito. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but A.J. 陈义勇 firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without A.J. 陈义勇 having to interfere. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. A.J. 陈义勇 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 78th minute of play. After 79 minutes ArgenTeam's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Mexico's Luca Zorita getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 83rd minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but A.J. 陈义勇 was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lautaro Mancebo in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of A.J. 陈义勇, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 91 played minutes ArgenTeam got a freekick which was hit by Hiroshi Jito. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but A.J. 陈义勇 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The ArgenTeam players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
