SK Gullegem's Urmas Känsäkangas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play. Result 0-1. 18 minutes into the match. Urmas Känsäkangas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias-Alexander Jamieson in the 24th minute of play. Urmas Känsäkangas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Urmas Känsäkangas. Urmas Känsäkangas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hannes Jamieson, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. SK Gullegem's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bruno Renan in the 32nd minute. After taking down the ball on SK Gullegem's corner Bruno Renan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Urmas Känsäkangas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 37 minutes SK Gullegem's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SK Gullegem's Urmas Känsäkangas did a great save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when SK Gullegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias-Alexander Jamieson didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. During this time SK Gullegem's players had a chance to rest.
