When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Magno Leme was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Santista FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. Edmundo Espiga made a great header on Honduras's corner, it was just that Real Santista FC's Magno Leme managed to reach the ball for a save. Magno Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honduras were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Real Santista FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmundo Espiga took the corner. Vito Aguiar tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Magno Leme. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 18th minute. Magno Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Honduras were awarded a corner. Edmundo Espiga went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Real Santista FC's Gearoid McFrancise got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Santista FC's Magno Leme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emanuel Ocampo charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Ocampo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Hamrin in the 28th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Real Santista FC got a freekick which was hit by Gearoid McFrancise. In the 34th minute, 叶默棋 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Leme having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Magno Leme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magno Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Hamrin in the 40th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Real Santista FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Honduras were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miroslav Raab was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Esiquio Villaspasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslav Raab in the 54th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Raab in the 57th minute of play. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 63 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Real Santista FC's Magno Leme tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Miroslav Raab sped through Honduras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. When Ivan Navarro fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Ivan Navarro a yellow card for diving instead. Ivan Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magno Leme saved Real Santista FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Abreu in the 78th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslav Raab, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Miroslav Raab took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Jeremias Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honduras's attentive Esteban Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Vágner Peixoto made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 92nd minute of play forced Real Santista FC's goalkeeper Magno Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslav Raab in the 93rd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Vágner Peixoto in the 97th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo.
