With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexander Tehas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 22nd minute of the match. Eugenio Romillo scored 1-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Alexander Tehas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alexander Tehas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 43 played minutes TUNGSTA got a freekick which was hit by Mario Tuñon. In the 44th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexander Tehas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugenio Romillo was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Ecuador booed when TUNGSTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moreta Villarruel didn't get a good kick on the ball. TUNGSTA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. TUNGSTA's Alexander Tehas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save TUNGSTA from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in TUNGSTA's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Tehas came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, TUNGSTA's goalkeeper Alexander Tehas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 81 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Tehas. TUNGSTA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. Alexander Tehas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 87th minute of the match. After 88 minutes, Marco Roson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TUNGSTA and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marco Roson hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when TUNGSTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Tehas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marin Salamanca hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
