Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Horia Chioreanu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lucrețiu Sfetcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of the match. After 9 minutes FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Lucrețiu Sfetcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Horia Chioreanu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Lucrețiu Sfetcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucrețiu Sfetcu. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 25th minute, Basarab Panduru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Chioreanu in the 27th minute of play. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucrețiu Sfetcu having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Lucrețiu Sfetcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39thth minute of the game Agustín Saelices who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Lucrețiu Sfetcu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucrețiu Sfetcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. After recieving a nice pass, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Călin Boieraș tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucrețiu Sfetcu. Lucrețiu Sfetcu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

54 minutes into the game, one of FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt:s Lucrețiu Sfetcu showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Zorita:s penalty. 57 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Basarab Panduru came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute of play forced FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Sfetcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basarab Birișu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucrețiu Sfetcu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 60th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Daniel Zorita. In the 61st minute Horia Chioreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ejvind Kirkemand to maneuver through the defense. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt made a substitution. Costin Malcoci replaced Horia Chioreanu. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 75 minutes into the match, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Lucrețiu Sfetcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costin Malcoci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Adrian Nasta managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Nasta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 87 minutes, Basarab Birișu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manuel Tunaru kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Costin Malcoci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eric Gorcea charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eric Gorcea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Costin Malcoci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Costin Malcoci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
