Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off. After 5 minutes of play, Mainumby's Lázaro Chap made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 17th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Chap, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 25 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guaberto Cucao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 27th minute of play. Isidoro Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Guaberto Cucao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Marcos Cotilla was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Lázaro Chap capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lázaro Chap really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 39th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Miralles to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Panama's Dylan Sarmiento got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Mainumby's Francisco Dominic was substituted for Nunez Gizon. In the 50th minute of the match Panama got a corner. Mainumby's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick.

55 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guaberto Cucao. Tomas Berganza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Mainumby's zone, Abraham Alguacil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Cucao came out of the goal and Abraham Alguacil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Panama booed when Mainumby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Acevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Mainumby's goalkeeper Guaberto Cucao had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Berganza. After 71 played minutes Mainumby got a freekick which was hit by Justino Estavan. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Guaberto Cucao made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Mainumby's Lázaro Chap got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When Francisco Dominic fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mainumby's protests and gave Francisco Dominic a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th match minute, Mainumby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Dominic to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guaberto Cucao was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Dionisio Acevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 98 minutes into the game, Dylan Sarmiento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mainumby the free kick. After 98 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Sarmiento. Mainumby's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
