The corner led Honduras's Edmundo Espiga to fire away a dangerous shot which Maxim Van Schoorisse despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Maximo Matei made in the 24th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rigoberto Vermudo immediately put the ball in play. 25 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Marz came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximo Matei made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. Maxim Van Schoorisse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 31st minute of the match. Jonatan Opilano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmundo Espiga scored 1-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maxim Van Schoorisse, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Honduras booed when Drako Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Banegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ramon Marz made the kick off in the second half. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Opilano in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Emanuel Ocampo hit a great ball. In the 58th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. Jonatan Opilano struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drako Futbol Club. After 63 minutes, Ramon Marz made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Drako Futbol Club's Ramon Marz in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 81st match minute, Drako Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Vermudo to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Maxim Van Schoorisse in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Honduras's Luca Espinar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rigoberto Vermudo in the 89 minute of the game. Rigoberto Vermudo made in the 91st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jonatan Opilano. In the 93rd minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. When the final whistle sounded Honduras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Drako Futbol Club.
