Corazuli's Urbano Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play. After 6 minutes Corazuli's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Felix Montenegro got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 7 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Corazuli's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Urbano Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ivan Bortzaioriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 minutes, Amado Feliu made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 62 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Vasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
