After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Astor Amor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Astor Amor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moises Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Victorio Ubelteso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Club A.Douglas Haig's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorio Ubelteso came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmundo Espiga scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victorio Ubelteso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd match minute, Club A.Douglas Haig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszko Sebzda to maneuver through the defense. Fulgencio Gizon made in the 43rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Astor Amor however managed to control. Astor Amor did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Lautaro Navarro 46 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 53rd match minute, Club A.Douglas Haig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Gizon to maneuver through the defense. Victorio Ubelteso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 56th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justo Perfecto during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes Club A.Douglas Haig got a freekick which was hit by Justo Perfecto. After some careless play in the Club A.Douglas Haig defense, Moises Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victorio Ubelteso. The Club A.Douglas Haig fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorio Ubelteso should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Astor Amor in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Amor, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Club A.Douglas Haig's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Moises Tafalla scored to the left of an out of position Victorio Ubelteso, making the score, 1-3. Zbyszko Sebzda hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 83rd minute. The corner ended in Luca Espinar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club A.Douglas Haig's Victorio Ubelteso did a great save. The supporters of Honduras booed when Club A.Douglas Haig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Gizon didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Club A.Douglas Haig getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Fulgencio Gizon hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Club A.Douglas Haig's Justo Perfecto got a free kick in the 88th minute. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 played minutes Club A.Douglas Haig got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszko Sebzda. In the 95th match minute, Club A.Douglas Haig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Gizon to maneuver through the defense.
