Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Vykans Vikingar's Abdi Revis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abdi Revis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Vykans Vikingar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Lautaro Mancebo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 8 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faas Wilkes. Mats Hermansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Faas Wilkes kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Ekrot. Vykans Vikingar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Vykans Vikingar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Lautaro Mancebo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcus Ekrot quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vykans Vikingar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonardo Trancoso in the 31st minute. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdi Revis, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 36th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 50th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 54th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Börje Stål. Vykans Vikingar's Martin Mutumba was substituted for Faas Wilkes. After 57 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Börje Stål. In the 64th minute Martin Mutumba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When %teams%'s Lorenzo Cazalla was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 0-2 just inside the left pole, 73 minutes into the game. Marcus Ekrot was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Vykans Vikingar's Leonardo Trancoso got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdi Revis in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Mutumba in the 95th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
