Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alexandre Soeiro kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Soeiro in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Alexandre Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cléberson Alves was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Diamond Football Club getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Nico Corrêa hit a great ball. In the 32nd match minute, Diamond Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Cléberson Alves - 0-2 was put on the score board in the 33rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albertinho Borges got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 38 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Joshua Secada got a free kick in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Albertinho Borges cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Soeiro in the 53rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertinho Borges in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Alexandre Soeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Alexandre Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Diamond Football Club booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albertinho Borges struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diamond Football Club. Albertinho Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Flávio de Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albertinho Borges in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Nico Corrêa came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Diamond Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nico Corrêa couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Flávio de Carvalho hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. A collision led to Diamond Football Club getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Manuel Simão hit a great ball. Diamond Football Club's Cléberson Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 92nd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertinho Borges in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of Venezuela were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Diamond Football Club side.
