Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 13th minute, Macos Graciani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faas Wilkes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 36th minute of play. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abdi Revis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vykans Vikingar's Jose Indalecio was substituted for Eric Van Lint. Vykans Vikingar's Martin Mutumba was substituted for Faas Wilkes. A collision led to Vykans Vikingar getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Tage Glanselius hit a great ball. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Marcus Ekrot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Mutumba's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Marcus Ekrot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 71st minute. In the 76thth minute of the game Leonardo Trancoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vykans Vikingar's Abdi Revis got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute Leonardo Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Vykans Vikingar's Martin Mutumba. But to his dismay, Martin Mutumba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Vykans Vikingar succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Mexico had controlled the match.
