Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Artetas artilleri's Noel Abraham started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Epifanio Iratzeder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 5th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Artetas artilleri's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. 8 minutes into the match, Artetas artilleri's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Epifanio Iratzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Noel Abraham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Iratzeder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milagros Fraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Alonso Berganza. After 15 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Reyes. Epifanio Iratzeder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by Jim Croce with Brian Jones as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Epifanio Iratzeder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Epifanio Iratzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Gayoso in the 36th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Jim Croce in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Epifanio Iratzeder was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. 40 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Siöman came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Valter Siöman made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Jim Croce made in the 43rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Brian Jones. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 47th minute of play forced Artetas artilleri's goalkeeper Epifanio Iratzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Artetas artilleri's attentive Diego Ronconi managed to snatch the ball when Moises Gayoso made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. Julian Murillos short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Epifanio Iratzeder to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Peru's Milagros Fraga got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Jones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Epifanio Iratzeder, 1-2. With an all-out effort, Peru's Epifanio Iratzeder threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Joakim Brandin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artetas artilleri's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Moises Gayoso scored to the left of an out of position Epifanio Iratzeder, making the score, 1-3. Artetas artilleri made a substitution. Gabriel Martinelli replaced Brian Jones. Jim Croce got a throw-in 76 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Diego Ronconi. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joakim Brandin in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Moises Gayoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, Artetas artilleri's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Epifanio Iratzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Noel Abraham notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. In the 90th minute, Peru's Rafael Gallo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Abraham in the 93rd minute of the match. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Epifanio Iratzeder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. A collision led to Artetas artilleri getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. George Michael hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Peru walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
